Chief Compliance Officer Services
You can enlist Foreside either to assist your existing CCO on a consulting basis, or to provide a qualified individual to serve in the capacity of CCO for your funds. Our customized programs service a range of registrants, including open-end, closed-end and exchange traded fund types. We will administer the fund's Rule 38a-1 compliance program, providing you the peace of mind that Foreside is carefully monitoring and testing the fund's operations and service providers. Our resources can be particularly helpful for special projects and reviews, especially when you require short-term or periodic help.

Our CCO services include:
- Reviewing compliance programs to incorporate any new or changed regulations or best practice recommendations.
- Reviewing the adequacy of fund and service provider compliance policies and procedures and the effectiveness of their implementation.
- Designing or reviewing risk-based testing methods for the compliance program's policies and procedures.
- Performing and documenting testing of certain control procedures, including collecting and organizing relevant compliance data and reviewing reports, investigating exceptions and making inquiries of fund management and the service providers.
- Conducting site visits to advisers and other service providers as necessary.
- Preparing written quarterly and annual CCO Reports for the Board and attending meetings quarterly, or as requested.
- Meeting periodically with fund management.
- Maintaining records relating to the fund's services, such as compliance policies and procedures under applicable laws and regulations.
- Providing a named experienced and independent fund CCO, either on a temporary or permanent basis.
- Providing a range of compliance support services to fund and adviser CCOs, including drafting of compliance programs and assistance with testing and administration of such programs.
