Foreside Fund Services, LLC ("Foreside") is pleased to announce that Richard F. Cook, Jr. has joined our compliance team in Portland.
Portland, ME - Nov 7 2005 - Rick is a seasoned professional with significant financial services experience, particularly regarding investment management and advisory businesses. From 1985 through 2002, Rick was an executive officer, shareholder and director of Century Capital Management, a registered investment adviser in Boston, Massachusetts, and an officer of Century Shares Trust, an open-end no-load mutual fund. Since 2002, Rick founded and has run a specialist strategic and operational consulting business, NorthLake LLC.
Prior to joining Century in 1985, Rick held various legal staff positions with finance subsidiaries of General Electric. He began his professional career as an associate attorney in the New York City offices of Curtis, Mallet, Prevost, Colt & Mosle, where he concentrated in corporate, securities and international law.
Rick graduated cum laude from Williams College with a BA degree, and he subsequently earned an MBA degree from Columbia University and a JD degree from Vanderbilt University. He and his wife, the executive director of a public education policy consortium, reside in Manchester, Maine.
At Foreside, Rick will concentrate on further expansion of our CCO compliance services. Foreside has over 30 funds under our compliance program, and over 100 funds & classes in our distribution
